pilates classes and private sessions
BASI - Body Arts and Science International
The name reflects its mission: combining the art of movement with the science of the human body to create a highly intelligent, precise, and holistic Pilates method.
MAT CLASSES
REFORMER CLASSES
Mat work is a fundamental part of the BASI Pilates method, helping you build strength, control, and body awareness. We encourage all students to join these classes as an essential complement to their practice.
We offer mat work with small props - such as Pilates small balls, foam rollers, magic circles and more - all of which, together with your mat, will be ready for you in our studio.
Reformer classes offer a full-body workout with a strong focus on alignment and control. Working with spring resistance challenges your strength, precision, and stability, bringing a new dimension to your Pilates practice.
To join to higher-level group reformer classes, you’ll first need a solid foundation in the equipment work.
Every student is required to complete three Fundamental sessions before progressing.
Your teacher will advise you on the best way to prepare and which class level will suit you.
PRIVATE / DUO SESSIONS
Private Pilates sessions offer the full, focused attention of your teacher. There is truly no better way to get to know your body and understand how it moves than through one-on-one work.
Such sessions are also excellent for injuries, rehabilitation, movement re-patterning, and for deepening your existing practice at a pace that suits you best.
You can also book duet which allow you to train with a partner or a friend.
All private formats make use of the full Pilates apparatus, selected according to your needs and goals.
New clients are welcome to start with our introductory package of 3 private sessions for €175.
Prenatal Pilates offers a safe and mindful way to stay active throughout your pregnancy, providing you with tools for deep support and mental strength.
The exercises help you build stability, prepare your body for labour, and reduce common pregnancy-related issues such as back pain, postural imbalances, low energy levels, and poor circulation.
We recommend starting the classes after 12 weeks of pregnancy.
