Prenatal

Prenatal Pilates offers a safe and mindful way to stay active throughout your pregnancy, providing you with tools for deep support and mental strength. The exercises help you build stability, prepare your body for labour, and reduce common pregnancy-related issues such as back pain, postural imbalances, low energy levels, and poor circulation.

 

We recommend starting the classes after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Each class lasts 55 minutes. You can book your sessions online. Please arrive a few minutes early to check in calmly.

 

When moving into below you will also be provided with a document that we kindly ask you to download, print, and have signed by your midwife or gynaecologist before attending your first session.

Our instructors are qualified through completion of the "Pilates Through Pragnancy and Beyond" course with Ashley Kim Ritchie BASI Faculty, South Africa.

PREGNANT

Let us support you during this beautiful time, safely and with a well-structured plan but 

first, download and fill in the Personal History Form and also Excercise Consent Form before you start participating.

This is important for both you and us in order to confirm that there are no medical contraindications and that you are able to participate in the classes safely. 

Please ask your midwife or gynecologist to sign the forms and submit them before your first class. You may send them by email or deliver them in person.

 

 

 

 

POSTNATAL

If you have recently given birth and completed an 8-week recovery period, and you have already had a postnatal check-up with your midwife or gynecologist, please complete this Postnatal Assessment Form before joining the classes.
